The Monaco Gran Prix is coming soon. This year is going to be an amazing one too. The Circuit of Monaco is the hardest, slowest, and most exciting race of the Formula 1 World Championships. If the drivers make one mistake in this race, it could be fatal. If you are a racer and you make this race, you’re determined to do well. The Circuit of Monaco is a street laid circuit that is making complete use of the city of Monte Carlo. It is mainly in the Monte Carlo neighborhood of Monaco. The overpass on the circuit is almost impossible. If the racers are simply controlling their drive and finish the race, they will get points, which is much better than not finishing or not qualifying. There are places to view the race and there are stands to sit and watch. There are 78 laps in the race. The circuit is 3.34 km and the total distance of the race is 260.52 km or 161.9 miles. This circuit has shown to be accident prone. The Saint De’vote curve is one of the most dangerous on the course. The circuit goes up and until the left-right of the Casino of Monte Carlo, right in front of the Hotel de Paris, then drivers go down a hill to curve around to Mirabeau. This is the slowest of the circuit.

There have been a few changes to the circuit since it was named a Formula 1 circuit track. In 1973, the road of the swimming pool was added, and this allowed the stands to be placed on the Quay, so fans could cheer along with their favorite drivers. In 1976, two new baffles were put in at Ste De’vote and also on the outside of the Rascasse. In 1986, the Quay was widened, which allowed a new Baffle. In 1997, the “S” of for swimming pool is redrawn, and a turn was added.

It takes at least six weeks to build the track around the city. It also takes three weeks to take the track down. It has a lot of ups and downs, narrow areas, tiny streets, and there are several elevations changes too. The track is very demanding. In this race, it doesn’t matter how powerful your car is, its about the skills of each driver. The driver with the best skills, will win the race.
